Bravo to Ms. English and our 5th Grade on a fabulous Holiday Concert. The orchestra and band performed: Merrily We Roll Along, Jingle Bells, and Hot Cross Buns. The Chorus sang : Hot Chocolate, Hanukkah Night, In Winter, Who Put the Presents Ubder The Tree, and Am I Ready? 🎶

Due to the weather and road conditions, district schools will operate on a 2 hour delayed opening schedule today, Monday, December 16, 2024.
Old Farmers Road School participated in Toys for Tots and donated toys through the Washington Township Police Department.
Thank you to the PTO for providing such a fun musical experience for students today. Grades Pre-K, K, and 1 learned about Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, Ramadan and Christmas all while singing, playing drums on our laps and participating in the fun. We even made it snow! ❄️❄️❄️

The fry (trout) at OFRS moved into the big tank! We are so excited to see them grow into juveniles. Our grade 5 students will be releasing them into local waters in the spring.
First grade students are enjoying playing, "Stuff the Turkey" in PE. It is a holiday favorite! 🦃🍗
The veterans from Bernardsville Post 7858 picked up all the candy and postage money that was donated from our Old Farmers Road School, Kossman, Flocktown, Cucinella, and Long Valley Middle School families. The veterans take the bags and boxes and create smaller boxes for distribution. They were very appreciative.
We honor our Veterans for their patriotism and sacrifice to our country.
It was our pleasure to host Post 1776 Veterans of Washington Township today for a special breakfast, flag raising ceremony and Q&A with our fifth grade students. ❤️🤍💙
First grade students work cooperatively to create a story map poster of the events in the beginning, middle and end of the book, Spookley The Square Pumpkin. This story shows us that being different is special and that we should not judge others by their appearance. 🎃👻
