For the final day of Read Across America Week our students got to watch The Lorax and design and decorate their own Truffula Trees with positive messages on them! Students in PK-5 classrooms wrote their own "I Speak For..." messages on their trees and we will be hanging them up around the school!
Even though we are wrapping up Read Across America Week here at OFRS, we have instilled a love of literacy into our students' hearts and will continue to incorporate DEAR time, buddy reading periods, and full-schoolwide reading initiatives for the remainder of this school year. Thank you so much to the teachers and staff for taking the time out of their already busy days to incorporate these activities this week!

Entrepreneurship is an art — fueled by dedication, creativity, and courage. This year, we want to celebrate YOU at the WT Schools TREP$ Marketplace on Saturday, December 6th at Long Valley Middle School.
Local entrepreneurs are invited to join us at 11:45 AM for the Official Marketplace Opening at 12:00 PM.
Then stick around, show off your business pride, and explore 150 student-run businesses spread throughout the building. Your presence will inspire the next generation of makers, creators, and future CEOs.
