Dear Families, We are happy to report that full power has been restored to all buildings, and phones are now working. Thank you.

Our power at OFRS is now FULLY RESTORED but we loved to see our students and teachers working creatively to make the most of their learning day! Nothing can stop us from reading. :)

Dear families,
This morning we lost power and Internet. JCP&L has informed us that power should be back up by 11:30 AM.
Power at the District schools is sporadic. Internet and phone lines are down. If you need to contact your child's school in case of any type of emergency please email the principal directly, he or she will be using their personal devices to access email.
LVMS cafeteria is without power, so Maschio's will be serving cold lunch options. All other cafeterias are operational.
Once full power has been restored, we will send out another communication.
At this point and time, aftercare and all after school activities are still being held. We will keep you updated.

Third graders in Mrs. Frankosky's class had an exciting hands-on science lesson as they explored the power of magnetic fields. Using various types of magnets, the students conducted experiments to test how strong each magnet was by observing how many objects they could attract and lift. They experimented with different materials, such as paper clips, nails, and other small items, to see how magnets interact with various surfaces. The students were amazed to discover how distance, material, and size can affect a magnet's strength. It was a fun, interactive way to deepen their understanding of magnetism and how it works in the real world!

FKS Family- Reminder today is Wolf Wednesday so wear your spirit wear or school colors!
