
Kindergareten students were excited to harvest the potatoes planted by last year's kindergarten students in the outdoor classroom. They also began their science unit on Trees and Weather with nature walks using their senses to observe and record their data about tree parts.






LVMS students from National Junior Honor Society went to Longmeadow Farm in Blairstown to Glean apples for Americas Grow A Row. The students rescued about 1100 pounds of apples which would be enough to give 4400 people apples!




Third grade students invented "Bobbly Droppers". In the activity, students try to save a falling bobby pin from a crash landing by inventing a device to slow the fall. They work like inventors, learning that failures are part of the invention process!

Thanks to the PTO, BAC students enjoyed performances from American singer-songwriter Red Grammer. It was a day of music, community, and fun!

BAC 5th grade students in Mrs. Van Houten's class built bridges during science today, while learning about the engineering design process. Their challenge: to create a bridge spanning 12 inches to support a toy car without breaking. They will test the bridges out on Monday!








BAC 5th grade students in Ms. Sonzogni's class buddied up with 1st grade students in Mrs. Draghi's class. This was the first of several times these two classes will be collaborating this school year. Today was a fun day of interviewing and getting to know one another!


Cucinella students are hard at work with the district's new math program, Eureka Squared. Fourth-graders have been working cooperatively in partnerships to learn more about money. Way to go BAC Fourth Grade!
