Another SUCCESSFUL Pink Out at LVMS! Thank you to all students and staff for a a great spirit day. We are happy to share that the Student Council raised over $400 to be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation to help raise awareness for Breast Cancer.

BAC kindergarten students in Mrs. MacMillan's class had a great time in writing class this week. They learned about labeling, matching seasonally-themed words to pictures. They were proud to show their work!






The trout eggs arrived at OFRS this morning! The 5th grade students "welcomed" them to their new home and the 5th grade science teachers are excited to start the unit - Trout in the Classroom.

The TREP$ Entrepreneurship Program kicked off today! Students will be involved in hands on creation of products and experience business ownership. What an empowering opportunity!






Thursday, October 17th will be the LVMS annual Pink Out Spirit Day! All students and staff are encouraged to where pink. During lunch periods this week, the LVMS Student Council will be selling Breast Cancer Awareness bracelets for $1 and pink bandanas for $2. All proceeds will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

What a beautiful day to have the Fairmount Fire Department come to OFRS to teach our preschoolers through grade 1 students about fire safety.




The Week of Respect continues at OFRS! Today we wore Crazy Socks to "to remind us to stomp out unkind behaviors".





FKS 5th grade students reflected on their experience at YMCA Camp Bernie. Their quotes share what they learned about teamwork, perseverance, and communication.


Our 5th graders collected enough stream water to FILL THE TANK! One step closer to welcoming our trout eggs to their new home.
