LVMS students from National Junior Honor Society went to Longmeadow Farm in Blairstown to Glean apples for Americas Grow A Row. The students rescued about 1100 pounds of apples which would be enough to give 4400 people apples!

Tonight is Back to School Night at LVMS from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. 6th grade families should plan to visit the N. Gym at 6:00 PM. 7th / 8th Grade families should plan to visit the S. Gym (MPR) at 6:00 PM. Prior to attending, please review the OnCourse Portal for your child's homeroom teacher and room #. Full schedules for the evening will be given at 7:00 PM when parents report to homeroom. We look forward to welcoming everyone to LVMS!
8th Graders had a great trip to Camp Bernie last week for some team building activities.
Mr. Ippolito and Mr. Mirabella welcomed students back and met with all grade levels this week in small group house meetings. School expectations, goals, and 2024-25 updates were discussed during support period to help set everyone up for a successful school year.
Students from Ms. Zajac and Mrs. Wolke's 7th grade science classes spent some time in our courtyard this afternoon completing an ecology scavenger hunt, analyzing abiotic and biotic features.
Mrs. Clark and her art classes worked on a collaborative mural for all grade levels with the theme "We All Fit In", which was inspired by street artist Thank You X. The mural is on display outside of the MPR for all students to see.
Attention all LVMS students that are new to the district! Don't forget to join us tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 6th after AM homeroom in the LVMS Guidance Office for a "Welcome Breakfast". Students will have the opportunity to join us for a light breakfast, as well as meet with our counselors and some of our student leaders for an opportunity to ask questions, meet new friends, and talk about the many clubs/activities that are offered at LVMS.
Please join us at 7:30 PM tonight in the LVMS Library or on Google Meet for the first PTA Meeting of the year! We look forward to "kicking off the year" and discussing some of our events and plans.
