Students in the district collected food for the Long Valley Food Pantry the last week of October to "Stuff the Bus". Members of LVMS National Junior Honor Society and WMC Highlanders for Humanity spent Saturday morning on November 1st unloading the bus, sorting items by category and by expiration dates then loaded the shelves in the pantry. Thank you to all students and families that contributed!


Don't forget! Monday 11/3, Tuesday 11/4, and Wednesday 11/5 are Early Dismissal Days for all LVMS Students for Parent Teacher Conferences. All WTSchools will be closed on Thursday 11/6 and Friday 11/7 for the NJEA Conference.

Thank you to Sgt. Oranchak and the Washington Township Police Department for presenting to our 8th graders yesterday as part of Red Ribbon Week! The presentation focused on promoting drug awareness and making healthy, responsible choices.
Tonight (10/22) is the next Parent University at 7:00pm in the BAC Cafe! This Tech Talk is focused on a Parents' Guide to Technology at WTSchools! We hope you can join us!

The LVMS Annual Pink Out is scheduled for Wednesday, October 22nd! During the school day, all students will participate in a full school picture with everyone in their pink gear. Bracelets, Necklaces, and Bandanas will be sold during all lunch periods, 10/20 - 10/22, to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness. All proceeds will be donated to the "Susan G. Komen for the Cure" Foundation.

Attention 7th and 8th Graders! This Friday, October 24th is the Student Council sponsored Halloween Dance from 6:45 - 8:45 PM. Tickets will be sold all week during student lunch periods for $10 per student.

We are excited to host our next Parent University on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at 7:00pm in the BAC Cafetorium! Please join us for this Tech Talk: Exploring the Tools that Power Learning, providing a Parent Guide to Technology at WTSchools!

7th and 8th grade members of the National Junior Honor Society volunteered today with Grow A Row at Pittstown Farm harvesting potatoes. By the end of the day LVMS along with two other schools volunteering harvested 16,435 pounds of potatoes which means 67,000 people will get a serving of potatoes. Grow A Row is a non-profit organization with the mission of providing fresh produce to those that don't have the means to purchase.

Thank you LVMS PTA for hosting a GREAT 6th Grade Social last week. 6th Graders had a blast playing basketball, volleyball, yard games, and hanging out in the courtyard!







Join us at LVMS tonight for Back to School Night! The evening events begin at 6:00 PM with a welcome from Mr. Ippolito and Mr. Mirabella, and a gallery presentation from all Related Arts and Wellness staff members. Core classroom presentations begin in your child's homeroom at 7:00 PM.

Don't forget to grab dinner at OMG before or after Back to School Night. 15% of proceeds from now through 10/9 will be donated directly to the LVMS PTA!

LVMS students had a blast showing their school spirit at Marching Band Night at West Morris Central on Friday, Sept. 19th!

Mr. Ippolito and Mr. Mirabella concluded "House Meetings" with students where school expectations and procedures were reviewed with all houses. Don't forget, to review our Parent-Student Handbook to be informed on some of the topics that were covered and reinforce these expectations at home.
