Congratulations to our 2nd graders, their teachers, Ms. Scrimo, and Mrs. Hemberger on a wonderful Celebration of Learning. Students performed, presented their artwork, and shared their learning portfolio with their families. A perfect ending to a rewarding school year!






FKS Grades 3-5 Field Day was a huge success, with a big assist from the perfect weather! Many thanks to Mrs. Hanna, Mr. Churchill, and our parent volunteers for providing this memorable and enjoyable event.





Had a great day celebrating our 8th Graders! After Promotion practice 8th graders signed yearbooks and enjoyed a BBQ with karaoke and live music. Thank you to the LVMS PTA for sponsoring the annual game show in the afternoon and End of Year Dance.






One of our lucky OFRS students won a prize at the OFRS PTO School Fair to assist us in the office for the morning! He was a BIG help!

Our 5th graders spent most of the day at LVMS with their future 6th grade classmates from BAC and OFRS for a picnic and fun. Many thanks to our 5th grade team of teachers for coordinating this event with their 5th grade colleagues. Thank you Mr. Ippolito and Mr. Mirabella for hosting the LVMS Class of 2027!




Today we celebrated the learning and growth of our preschoolers! Thank you Mrs. Albeck and the Pre-K team for the sweet and simple ceremonies at these events for their families. We'll see some of them in kindergarten in the fall!


Thank you to Mrs. Daily and the PTA for the popcorn at lunches this week. The popcorn was a treat to get students excited for the Spring Carnival on Friday. We can't wait!

Volunteers from the LVMS Band and Orchestra participated in "Taps Across America" last week to honor military men and women who lost their lives in service to our great country by playing Taps, our “National Song of Remembrance”.

Families of our FKS Wolves, you'll have the opportunity to meet and introduce yourself to your new principal - Dr. Chris Marangon - this Wednesday, 5/29, from 7-8 pm in the Flocktown Library. This is an informal Meet and Greet. If you're available, please consider stopping by. If you miss him this time, there will be other opportunities to meet Dr. Marangon at the events in August.

OFRS Second Graders enjoyed a field trip to the mines on Thursday, May 23rd. They were so happy that the weather cleared up and they could enjoy the outdoor mining !





Old Farmers Road School hosted a breakfast for our local veterans and honored them with a flag raising ceremony, including songs sung by our students this past Wednesday, May 22nd.






5th-grade students led by Ms. Scrimo performed in an instrumental concert for the whole school on Thursday morning. They will repeat their wonderful performance for family and friends Thursday night at 7pm. We hope to see you there! Event details: Cucinella cafetorium on Thursday, May 23 at 7pm.



REMINDER: District Schools will be closed on Monday, May 27th for Memorial Day Weekend. School will resume on Tuesday, May 28th.

Our kindergartners hosted their families for a Celebration of Learning this morning! Students shared the impressive progress they made this year, performed three spirited musical numbers, and toured the amazing artwork they have displayed throughout the school. Many thanks to our team of kindergarten teachers, our Music teacher Ms. Scrimo, and our Art teacher Mrs. Hemberger to bring together this special event.





It was a busy morning at FKS! We began the day with our 4th grade chorus assembly, with second graders as their special guests at Flocktown. They were wonderful! They are ready to bring the house down tonight at their performance for families!
