
Our grade 5 students took us on a musical trip through their performance of Jukebox Time Machine. We enjoyed the show as they sang and danced through the decades. Congratulations on a wonderful performance to the entire grade level and Ms. English who directed the play! 🎭🎶📻🎙️

Grade 5 students were able to successfully release 22 trout back into the wild today! They then classified insects from around the area to determine the level of pollution in the water. It's been fun watching them care for the trout since October. 🐟🐠💦







The chicks have arrived! BAC students enjoyed watching chicks hatch last week. They learned about the chicken life cycle, and now they are learning to care for their new feathered friends!





This week the LVMS Boys Baseball team had a dominating win over Warren Hills. LVMS 8th Grader Philip Silvia pitched a no-hitter securing 10 strikeouts! The game was caught by Charles Bodnar and Vincent Kramer. The Boys have a record of 5-0 and face Chester on Monday.


Mr. Mita demonstrated different common Mandala patterns and his 6th grade students had the opportunity to create their own designs. In the upcoming days students will create their own Mandala's with these patterns.


Staff members had a meet and greet with some local therapy dogs today. The Long Valley Juniors will be sponsoring pet therapy opportunities for students for the 24-25 school year. The staff fell in love and we can't wait to add this program to our school offerings. 🐕💗🐕🦺



Grade 3 presented their recorder concert today. Many of the songs played were composed by the students themselves. Very impressive!!! 🎼🎵🎶



Thank you to the OFRS PTO who always do such an amazing job with teacher appreciation week! Each day features a special treat: breakfast, pampering items, luncheon, desserts, a coffee bar, gifts and more. OFRS teachers are definitely OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! ☄️💗🚀








There will be a special meeting of the Washington Township Board of Education on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at the Long Valley Middle School Performing Arts Center, 51 West Mill Road, Long Valley, NJ, for the purpose of a Superintendent Search. The meeting will open at 6:30 p.m. and immediately enter into an executive session. No action will be taken.

Visitors took a "trip around the world" as they visited Grade 3 World Culture Day. Students presented on a country of choice sharing interesting facts and engaging visuals. ✈️🌍

Mrs. Clark and the Art Club students spent the afternoon outside this week to sketch and draw the beautiful cherry blossom tree that is near the LVMS Main Entrance. The artists did amazing work using watercolors and chalk pastels!





Don't forget! The LVMS PTA Volleyball Tournament is TOMORROW 4/26. Students can still register online today or sign up at the door for $10 per player. All students are invited to watch the tournament after school tomorrow. Concessions will be sold.


4th Grade Students shared their Non-Objective Art with us. These projects focus on color, shapes , lines and space. The final pieces show their awareness of positive and negative space. Students' color choices speak to their knowledge of color relationships. 🎨🧑🏾🎨🖼️






Old Farmers Road 4th Grade Presents, "Listen". What a beautiful choral selection! Each and every student put their heART into this performance. 🎼🎵🎶🎙️🎹






With assistance from Mr. Ferrante, Mr. DeLorme and Mrs. Abbate's 6th Grade Social Studies classes took a virtual field trip to Ancient Greece! Using VR Goggles, students were able to "travel" to the Acropolis of Athens to study and explore the architecture and culture.




Mrs. Smith's 8th Grade Social Studies classes completed a Civics Project where they met with Officer Feichter, our School Resource Officer, and discussed ideas of how to bring awareness of the sales of liquor and vapes to minors.
