We are happy to announce our 2026 End of Year activities that are planned for our 8th Graders! Our 8th Grade teachers have been working hard to plan a variety of exciting activities to celebrate the LVMS Class of 2026. Please check your email for detailed information and permission slips for these end of year events! This information will also be sent home with your children on Thursday, March 26th.
Included is a brief outline of these events:
Somerset Patriots Trip - 8th graders will travel to TD Bank Ballpark to see a Somerset Patriots baseball game. Students will depart from LVMS around 9:15 AM and return about 3:00 PM. Students will be able to take the bus to school and home from school. At the stadium LVMS will be sitting in the BBQ area and enjoy a catered BBQ lunch while we watch the game.
HersheyPark Trip - 8th graders will travel to HersheyPark Students will depart from LVMS via coach bus around 9:00 AM and return at approximately 8:30 PM (ALL students will need to be picked up at 8:30 PM when they return to LVMS). Students will be provided with a class t-shirt to wear while at HersheyPark along with one (1) voucher for a meal at the park.
“End of Year Celebration” - As traditionally done, we will celebrate the LVMS Class of 2026! During the morning we will hold Promotion Ceremony practice, followed by yearbook signing, and a picnic lunch. The afternoon will be the LVMS PTA sponsored “Jeopardy Game Show” as well as in the evening, the LVMS PTA will be hosting the 8th Grade end of year celebration.
