Superintendent Lind recently met with an intimate group of families and staff for her first district book club, held at Long Valley Middle School. The group discussed The Anxious Generation, Jonathan Haidt’s exploration of how modern childhood, shaped by technology, social media, and declining independence, has contributed to rising levels of anxiety among young people. Participants broke into small groups to reflect on the book’s main themes, shared personal insights, and engaged in thoughtful conversation.
