Attention First Grade Parents               From:  Sodexho School Services

On September 13, 2010 your child will share in the experience of eating in the school cafeteria.  The food service department will provide a welcome lunch, free to the first grade students on this day.

This experience will enable your child to actually walk through the step by step procedures of eating in the school room cafeteria setting.

We feel this experience will help to alleviate some of the fears and unfamiliar feelings of standing in line for lunch, picking up their food, going through the register line and eating lunch in a new atmosphere. 

The menu on this date will be:

Tyson Chicken Nuggets

Warm Bread Stick

Fresh Carrot Sticks, Lo fat Dressing

Juicy Watermelon

As always we have available the following alternate choices daily:

Bagel Bag Lunch

Cold Sandwich Lunch

Entrée Salad Lunch

Triple Decker Peanut Butter & Jelly

A big thank you to all of our students and staff who donated to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund through "Hoops for Haiti".  Old Farmers Road School donated $1,203.00!   The school received a nice letter thanking us for our generosity.   You can read the letter in its entirety here.

Students may be dropped off no earlier than

8:45 AM.

If you need to pick up your child prior to the end of the school day, please send a note to your child's teacher indicating the date and time you expect your child in the office.

A written request that is signed and dated must be sent to the office every time you wish to pick up your child rather than having them ride home on the bus as usual.

If you forget to send a note, please call the main office by 1:00 PM to ensure your child's name is on the dismissal list.

Students must be signed out in the office or library before they leave the school.

Students must be picked up and dropped off at the FRONT entrance of the school.
