NWEA MAP TESTING RESULTS Attention Parents of LVMS Students: Results of our Fall MAP testing will be mailed home during the week of December 1st for your review. Included in this mailing is a brief overview of the results. Please note that these results share a single data point and, as a result, are most accurately evaluated when weighed with other measures of student progress. (i.e. NJ ASK Testing, Grade Reports, etc.)
For additional information, please review the Parent Toolkit available at: http://www.nwea.org/support/article/930 Should you NOT receive your child's MAP Assessment Report by Monday, December 21, 2009, please contact our office so that another can be sent to your attention. Thank you.
SPORTS INFORMATION: Any student that wishes to participate in a SPRING activity that requires a physical must have turned in the completed medical form to the health office no later than Friday, March 12, 2010. Meeting this deadline is imperative since state law requires that the school physician review and countersign all physicals before a student is allowed to participate. Additionally, a parent permission form is required for each sport or activity and must be submitted before a student will be allowed to participate. Parent permission forms are also available in the main office and should be returned to the coach at their first tryout or practice. Spring activities which require a physical are Baseball (Gr. 7/8); Softball (Gr. 7/8); and Track and Field (Gr. 6/7/8).
