Take Route 78 West to Exit 24 (Oldwick – Route 523 to Route 517).  Make a right off the exit onto Route 523 North.  Continue straight on 523 – turns into 517 before the town of Tewksbury.  Continue straight on 517 to second traffic light.  This is the center of Long Valley.  (Long Valley Brew Pub, Caruso’s Restaurant on left).

Go straight through traffic light – up Schooley’s Mountain Road (Route 24).  Make first right past traffic light on top of mountain (past Schooley’s Mountain General Store) – onto Flocktown Road (Eagle carved from tree).  Flocktown Road School is approximately ½ mile on left.  Kossmann School is on the same property as Flocktown in the rear of the parking lot.
