Spring Sports Participants
If your son/daughter would like to tryout for a spring sport, they must have an updated sports physical and a permission slip filled out and handed into LVMS School Nurse, Mrs. Meara by Tuesday, March 21. It is important to note that, here in New Jersey, participation in school sports requires a clearance from the school district physician who reviews and signs each completed sports physical form. If your child is approved to play, please note that your child's form will be kept on file at the Long Valley Middle School. If your child is not cleared to participate, you will be contacted by the school and your child's form will likewise be kept on file. Physicals turned in after this date may not be reviewed by our school physician in time for tryout/practice. Also, if your child does make the team they must also pay the $85.00 pay to participate fee. If you have any questions, call the LVMS Sports Coordinator, Mr. Schlesinger at (908) 876-3434.
